Skid Row Learning Center Day of Service

While you are waiting to be placed with your student for the new year, please come to our first annual Skid Row Learning Center Day of Service. Help School on Wheels prepare for the upcoming school semester by stuffing backpacks, sorting school supplies, organizing our learning center, and cataloging our lending library. Help our kids come back in 2016 to a refreshed and ready Learning Center! Also consider bringing a holiday donation of a canned good, new children’s socks, new toys, or new school supplies. Light snacks and refreshments included. We will also be offering a tour of Skid Row for those who are interested in participating.
Free street parking is available on 7th Street (There are no restrictions on 7th Street on weekends). There are also metered spots on San Pedro Street and free, 2-hour spots on Crocker Street (one block east of San Pedro Street).
