Our 4th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk is on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011.
Last year over 200 staff, volunteers, friends, and supporters came together at Zuma Beach in Malibu (we know, great location!) to participate in our 5K Fun Run/Walk. We raised close to $20,000 for our program, and this year were reaching even higher: Our goal is to raise $30,000.
- Race prizes: Medals and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age/gender category and for the top fundraiser.
- Raffle: Registration includes one raffle ticket for a chance to win great prizes. Additional tickets can be purchased on the day of the race for $10 each.
- Goal: Raise $30,000 to enhance the educational opportunities of homeless children K-12 and shrink the gaps in their education.
