Summer Program

When it comes to academic achievement, summer is the time when your student needs you the most! Recent studies suggest that not only is this the best time to fill in the academic gaps of our students, but that summer vacations may be when these academic gaps form in the first place.

  

As a School on Wheels Tutor you have access to a wealth of learning materials and resources here at our online Tutor Center. To the left you will find academic materials for students in kindergarten through seventh grade in our Academic Program section and materials to help students in eighth grade and above prepare for their future in the BUS Program section. Please utilize these extremely helpful and engaging materials.

 

Simply reading with your student is one of the best activities you can do over the summer. For the American Library Association’s Notable Book list for 2010 and a list of recommended books from the School on Wheels’ staff, click the links below.
